The Racial Justice Institute (RJI) is a beacon of innovation and leadership, bringing together advocates from across the nation to pursue racial equity. This program has consistently proven to be a catalyst for change, empowering a diverse group of Fellows to acquire cutting-edge tools and knowledge to advance the cause of poverty eradication.
The Fellows include interest lawyers, legal aid attorneys, executive leaders, communication and policy professionals, and paralegals. Among the 29 Fellows, we proudly celebrate the 5 exceptional members from the Legal Services of North Florida (LSNF) staff. LSNF is proud to have staff committed to combatting inequality and affecting transformation within our communities.
Collectively, the Fellows bring a wealth of experience in areas such as economic justice, civil rights, housing justice, climate change, elder law, affordable housing, homelessness, and child welfare. With their diverse expertise, this group is bound to reshape the trajectory of social justice.
At the core, the RJI is an intensive, seven-month program that empowers Fellows with a detailed toolkit of racial equity concepts and strategies. This training equips them with the skills and insights needed to bring change to low-income communities and communities of color. As they embark on this journey, the Fellows become part of a diverse national network of over 408 esteemed alumni from 122 organizations united in their pursuit of racial equity.
Recently, the Racial Justice Institute celebrated their 10th anniversary. A decade of dedication and trailblazing work has led the RJI to this milestone.
Together, we will continue to raise the voices of those who are discriminated against, tear down systemic barriers, and shape a future that is truly a pathway towards justice for all.
Help us in congratulating these 5 LSNF staff members for their incredible achievement:
