Employment Opportunities

Application Process for Legal Services of North Florida Employment
LSNF has five offices and employs staff attorneys,
paralegals, legal secretaries and receptionists in each office. There are, at times, also clerkships, law student internships, externships and fellowships available through the FSU College of Law, Florida Bar Foundation, National Association for Public Interest Law, etc. Those organizations (or the Director of Litigation,
Scott Manion, at the Legal Services of North Florida Tallahassee Office) may be contacted for information on these types of positions.
When positions are available, they will be advertised in the local newspaper and, for attorney positions, written notice will be sent to local voluntary bar associations and The Florida Bar. Applicants seeking employment should submit a recent resume listing professional qualifications, along with a cover letter stating the position advertised for which you are applying, to: The Personnel Department, Legal Services of North Florida, 2119 Delta Boulevard, Tallahassee, Florida, 32303. If applying in general for future openings, we will simply retain your resume in a "pending" file.

Employee Benefits
Six months after initial employment, an employee is enrolled in LSNF's group health insurance, with a prescription drug card and a $10,000 term life insurance component. Legal Services of North Florida pays in full for the medical coverage on the employee and his/her children. (Although LSNF does not pay the coverage on the spouse of an employee, an employee may opt to cover his/her spouse under LSNF's group plan at the employee's expense.) Also after six months, employees are covered under LSNF's
long-term disability insurance plan.
Work Schedule: Legal Services of North Florida employees work a four-day workweek at 35 hours per week. Office hours are Monday-Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
